Wolfenstein
Like most people earning a living from writing, I try to avoid games - they suck time away like a black hole. But I always loved ID's original first person shoot-'em-up Wolfenstein, forerunner of Doom and Quake. Consequently, I was both intrigued and appalled to learn that an updated version, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, is due out Christmas 2001.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein is the official site.
Achtung Wolfenstein! http://www.3dactionplanet.com/wolfenstein is maintained by enthusiasts, and even better. Lord help us.
