INTERNET
I couldn't begin to list all the websites where my work has appeared (with my permission and otherwise). My print journalism in particular - especially interviews - has been used widely, too often without consent. What follows is some of my more major work on the net.
I edited The CompuServe Science Fiction Community - an sf/fantasy/horror magazine carrying news, comment, features, reviews and events listings - from its instigation on 8th August 1997 until 30th March 1998. I also conducted online interviews for CompuServe with genre and non-genre personalities from the worlds of literature, cinema and television.
From 17th October 1999 to 30th April 2000, I hosted a weekly live science fiction chat show for Sony Interactive Service's FriendFactory site.
I am currently Assistant Editor of The Science Fiction & Fantasy Zone. Launched in May 1998, and edited by my wife, author/journalist Anne Gay, the SFFZ is a rolling news, interviews, reviews and features magazine from Internet service provider Tiscali (formerly LineOne), and attracts an average 130,000 visitors per monthly update. The SFFZ can be found in Tiscali's Entertainment section.
Recent original work for Internet sites includes: Fantasy Rules The World, an essay for online bookseller Amazon.co.uk; June 2001, and Heart of Gold: A Tribute to Douglas Adams in One Part, for The Alien Online; July 2001.
